Do you use "Discreet Shipping?"
Yes, your order will be shipped in an ordinary shipping box with no markings to indicate it contains a surveillance product. The return address normally says "Shipping Department."
What is "Night Vision Ready?"
Night vision cameras are cameras that can see infrared(IR) light, which is light that the human eye cannot see. IR light is produced from a special light bulb. When it the bulb is turned on, it creates light that only IR cameras can see. Almost all of our our cameras are sensitive to IR light (they can record in the dark if there is an IR bulb), however not all of our cameras include the IR bulb. When you see "Night Vision Ready" means the camera include its own built-in IR bulb and is ready to see in the dark right out of the box.
In other words, it will be able to see in the dark!
TIP: If you want extra visibility, you may purchase additional IR light bulbs for an affordable price. Ask your hardware or electric department for a safe IR bulbs.
Does it work on Macs?
Viewing videos works on any modern computer via a web browser. Recording videos require 3rd party apps. Apps include the free INSTAR Camera Tool, DComplex, and the popular video app VNC.

Can I watch videos while I am away?
If you have a high-speed internet connection, you can log in to any of your cameras from most web browsers, such as Safari, Chrome and Firefox. Phone and email support is available to help you get started.

With a computer, you can record videos using recording software.
Are cloud features included?
There is not a cloud service included, however if you own a web server from a host such as Godaddy, your camera can upload pictures.

Privacy Tips
Here are some useful tips for all Wifi camera users. These tips will help keep your video feed private so only you have access to your cameras. NOTE, consider these tips a starting point. There are always more things to consider that we cannot include!
Hide your SSID after you get setup.
An SSID is the name of your Wifi router. It is the name of the router you see in your computer's list of Wifi connections. This can be hidden in the settings of most Wifi routers. Why hide it? A hidden router name adds an additional layer of protection, almost like a second password. It makes it so that anyone trying to connect to your Wifi needs to type in both the name and the password. If the SSID is not hidden, only the password is required.
Change your router AND Camera passwords.
At first glance, the password that comes with (aka the default password) your router may look very hard to guess. However, the reality is that your routers default password is already known by every hacker in the world. Many router manufacturers use the same password on every router, or use a method that generates a password that is easily replicated by hackers. Change your router password. Make it extremly difficult to guess. On the same note, change your Camera's password as well. Many cameras do not come with a password. Write down your passwords and store them in a safe place. Changing your camera password is easy, and your ISP might be able to help with your routher password.
WPA2 is more secure than WEP
WPA2 encrupts a wireless signle multiple times, constantly changing the passcode it uses to talk to its connected computers and devices. Install any WPA2 updates provided by your router manufacturer to avoid past security flaws. Remember, a wired ethernet connection is more secure than the WEP protocal.
Cosider a wired connection
Wifi is convienant, however using a wired connection takes the need for Wifi security out of the equation. If you must use Wifi, hide your SSID, set strong passwords and use the updated WPA2 encryption where possible.
VPN services add a layer of security
A VPN is a service you can purchase from a third party company that encrypts your internet connection. It means that you can make sure the videos you stream from your cameras are 100% encrypted from your home or office all the way to your computer. VPNs do cost some money, but a good VPN service means you can rest knowing only you can see the videos you stream.

Returns:
For your convenience we do accept returns on most hardware items.  If an item has not met your expectations, you may return it within 14 days of receipt of your order for a refund.  Any return is subject up to a 20% restocking fee including our original shipping costs (regardless if free shipping was offered).  This policy is necessary to cover our costs shipping an item back to the manufacturer and the cost to bring an item to refurbished status.  If you have any questions regarding compatibility, functionality, or limitations of any item, please ask us prior to your purchase. Please obtain an RMA Number (Return Merchandise Authorization) from us before sending any item back for return.  Any package sent without an RMA will be rejected at our warehouse.
Software Products:
Software items will only be accepted for return if unopened with tamper seal intact.  Activated live GPS Trackers are not accepted for returns.
Counter-Surveillance Products:
Due to the nature of counter-surveillance products such as: RF detectors, GPS detectors, and white noise generators,  we will only accept for return if item is unopened with tamper seal completely intact.

Defective Items:
In the unlikely event you receive a defective item we will replace it at our cost. You must contact us within 3 days of receiving a defective item. Please call toll free 615-431-9022 or send us a message. We will at that time explain the replacement process to you. If you choose to return a defective item instead of receiving a replacement all restocking fees still apply. Please understand it is in the nature of buying electronics defective items are possible, but very unlikely. We provide free technical support on all of our items. This may be done in house by us or we may provide you with a phone number for a manufacturer or supplier for the item. Warranty Info:
All items are covered by our 90 day warranty. Most items have a one year warranty. Please see individual listing for warranty specifics. Please contact us for details on any item. You are responsible for any shipping charges to return the item to us. Please provide previous notification of missing items before returning the item is required. Merchandise that is returned with missing items or damaged items will be returned exactly as received the missing items will not be replaced. Any outward signs of abuse or neglect will terminate the warranty and the item will be returned to the customer. We will repair or replace the item at our discretion. If the item is no longer available we will replace it with an equal or greater value similar item
