Solve 2 problems. Replace your unsafe cast press plates and always have the right diameter bushing, bearing and seal driver at your fingertips. Each driver has a slot so you can see inside for perfect alignment to bearing or journal. Also, when pushing rubber bushings (like control arm bushings) they will expand into the driver - the slot permits easy removal of the old rubber bushing.

Seal drivers are made of plastic or aluminum and will deform when used for bearings and bushings. Our strong DEEP STEEL drivers work for all seals and bearings.
Made from hardened STEEL, wall thickness is a hefty 5mm (.20") - we have never had one of our new drivers break. Yes, they are guaranteed for arbor press and hydraulic press work up to 30 tons. If a protector plate is used over the driver a hammer can be used to effectively remove and install seals and even light pressed bearings.

Every driver is 2" deep (1.97") to receive bearing being pressed out. We often use these drivers to backup workpieces when pressing as well as removing and installing bearings in hubs and spindles. Larger diameters are perfect for suspension bushings and larger bearings.
Your bars are made from Prime Steel and may have visual surface marks that in no way impact the use to which they are intended. These bars do not have fully ground edges and "sharp" corners like our GROUND bars do. As you probably know hot rolled steel (HR) comes in all variety of surface finishes...grey to reddish...mottled to uniform.

Shop Tip: For successful bearing/bushing installation, remove all rust and dirt, clean bore until smooth, lubricate bushing and bore with thin coating of Neverseeze to aid future removal. Use these quality drivers to align bearing to bore. For rotating assemblies retaining compounds
greatly improve contact area for longer life.
