    Description

ITEM: You are bidding on an original 1971-72 advertising calendar for The Boy Scouts of America and Coca-Cola products featuring artwork by iconic American artist Norman Rockwell. The calendar features a Cub Scout who is ready and "Can't Wait" to become a Boy Scout like his older brother. So much so that he donned his brother's too big uniform just to see how it fit! Has a September 1971 to August 1972 date pad, and advertising for Houston Coca-Cola Bottling Co. of Houston, Texas along with advertising for Coca-Cola and Sprite. The Boy Scout Law and Oath are printed under the date pad. These calendars were sold and distributed by local Boy Scout troops as a fundraiser, much like Christmas wreaths are today.
    Calendar measures approx. a complete 16" x 33 1/4" with an image size of 14 1/2" x 18".
CONDITION: Fine archived condition with minor edge and storage wear and some waving. Both top and bottom tin tops are intact, unbent, and in fine condition. Has a September 1971 to August 1972 date pad. Please use the images as a conditional guide.
